Bob and Bill Owen are the heart and soul of Polson Wrestling, and the motor that strengthens wrestling across Montana.  The patriarchs of Polson Wrestling hold 2 state team championships, 35 individual champions, 209 state placers, and well over 300 dual meet wins.  Since taking over the helm of Polson Wrestling 44 years ago, the pair has not slowed down.  In fact, with the addition of the younger staff, the wrestling team has placed 2nd and 5th in the past two years and are continuing to strengthen the Polson tradition.
Bob has been the head coach for almost half a century, is on the board for Montana Little Guy Wrestling, and coaches the 2nd - 4th grade wrestlers.  He specializes in all-things-wrestling.  From strategy to performance, Bob has an expertise in all.  Bill focuses on the psychology of wrestling, goal setting, and strengthening - not only wrestlers - but young people.  Also, Bill coaches 2nd - 4th grade.
Bob wrestled at Montana State University and Bill at the University of Montana.  Both have taught and retired from Polson School District, and continue to coach all aspects of the sport.  Combined, they are fathers to 5 former wrestlers and coaches.
