GENERAL NEWS:

Miss Kelly is looking for volunteers and Unified Peers to help out with the 3rd Special Olympics Snowshoe Winter Invitational on February 6 during the day at Polson High School.  I need volunteers for timing, ribbons, concessions, etc.  Unified Peers to help run a relay race. Go see Miss Kelly if you are interested.

FRESHMAN! Stressed about finals? Come to Cocoa and Cram with link crew on Wednesday the 22nd from 3-4 for some hot cocoa and study help.

IBA games next week will be Thursday night 7:15-9:19 due to no school on Monday

The FLIC Flathead Lake International Cinemafest is coming up on January 24 - 26th.  Films are shown at Showboat Cinemas, downtown Polson.  Student weekend passes available for $5 for the whole festival. Bring your student ID.  20 FREE Passes are available on a first come-first served basis. To claim, email jessica@flicpolson.com. FLIC Programs are in the library.  Stop by!

Applications for Summer 2020 MedStart Programs are now available. MedStart is open to current sophomores and juniors. This year's programs will be held during June and July at UM, University of Providence, Miles Community College, Montana Tech, and MSU-Billings.  More information is available on the Counseling page of the PHS website.  Apply online at www.scmtahec.org/medstart Application deadline is March 6, 2020

Winter strength and conditioning at 6:30 am in the weight room.  Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until spring sports begin. If you have any questions get ahold of coach Withrow.

College Horizons   is a college admissions workshop for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian high school students.  This year, College Horizons will be held at Emory University (Atlanta, Georgia) from June 27, 2020 - July 3, 2020. Applicants must be current high school sophomores or juniors, citizens or permanent residents of the US, and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA in core academic courses. The program cost is $450 plus the cost of transportation, but scholarships for tuition and travel expenses are available.  Apply online at  tfaforms.com/4771273 Application deadline is February 5, 2020.
