Rollins School District #41J was cut from Proctor/Dayton District #24 on October 14, 1902 as Bay View/Tate District #41J of Flathead County. It was called Rollins in 1910. The first elected Trustee of record was in April 1900. Bay View/Tate/Rollins became part of Lake County when it was formed in 1923.

Rollins School District #41 description: Beginning at the point on Flathead Lake where the lake is intersected by the reservation line in Township 25, Range 20; thence west on this line about two miles to a point where the reservation line intersects boundary between Sections 35 and 36, Township 25, Range 21 W; thence north to the northeast corner of Section 26; thence west one mile; thence north four miles to the northwest corner of Section 2; thence west one mile; thence north two miles to the northwest corner of Section 27, Township 26, Range 21 W; thence east to the lake shore; thence following this shore to the place of beginning.

Consolidated to West Shore High School District No. 1, February 23, 1949. Dissolved as Joint District with Flathead County, March 4, 1952. Annexed to Polson High School District No. 23, July 3, 1952.

Rollins Elementary School District #41 description as of 1961: Beginning at a point on the north boundary of Section 4, Township 25 N, Range 20 W, where the Lake County boundary and the meander line of Flathead Lake intersects; thence west 4 and a fraction miles to the northwest corner of Section 2, Township 25 N, Range 21 W; thence south 4 miles; thence east 1 mile; thence south 1 and a fraction mile to a pint where the Flathead Indian Reservation boundary and the west boundary of Section 36 intersects; thence east along reservation boundary approximately 2.1 miles to the meander line of Flathead Lake; thence along said meander line to the point of beginning.

Letter February 8, 1972: State Superintendent approves Rollins School District No. 41 as a portion of Polson High School District No. 23

Consolidated with Proctor School District No. 24 and Dayton School District No. 36 to become Upper West Shore (Dayton) School District No. 33, July 1, 1972, so school officially ended at Rollins.
