National Native American Heritage Month!

November is National Native American Heritage Month! We are celebrating here at Cherry Valley with art and literacy projects. Stop by Cherry Valley during the month of November to see what we are doing to celebrate Native American Heritage and Culture!

Annual Book Fair

We will have the annual scholastic book fair the week of November 4-7th in the library.  This is a great opportunity for purchase gift items for birthdays or Christmas, or books for your child to read at home.  It also raises money for the library!  You are welcome to stop in or send money/check with your child.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

There is no school on November 8th for conferences.  Some teachers may conference during the week in order to meet the scheduling needs of parents.  We can’t wait to meet with you to discuss your child and their wonderful growth this year!

Coats, Hats, Boots and Gloves

Cold weather and snow are on their way! Please make sure your child comes dressed for the weather. Unless the weather is severe, we will be sending students outside to play! Make sure to put your child’s name inside their coats, hats, gloves and boots. Also, make sure to check the Lost and Found for missing items.

Cherry Valley Parking and Drop-off

The street in front of Cherry Valley is very busy in the mornings! To shorten your wait time and to keep our students safe, please remember that west of the front crosswalk is for Drop-offs ONLY! If you would like to walk your child in, please park east of the front crosswalk. Watch for the signs for directions.  Thanks so much!
