Remote Learning Registration

Polson School District #23 recommends and encourages participation of all students in the Staggered Reopening Hybrid Model.  With that said our school district is committed to providing opportunities for those families who choose to have their students learn only remotely.  If you are interested in pursuing this option please review the remote learning information below and complete the registration form.

General Information

  • All elementary and middle school students choosing remote learning will only be allowed to return back to full time face-to-face instruction at the start of the second quarter (Nov 2).
  • Elementary and middle school students who choose remote learning  only are not eligible for a combination of remote learning and face-to-face instruction.
  • All high school students choosing remote learning will only be allowed to return back to full time face-to-face instruction at the start of the second quarter (Nov 2).
  • High school students can do remote learning and face-to-face instruction if scheduling allows.
  • For high school students, upon returning to face-to-face instruction, there is no guarantee that your original class schedule will be available.
  • Students must have the means to access remote courses and complete work as assigned. This includes meeting course deadlines.
  • Traditional grading practices will be used and reported on report cards and transcripts.
  • For all students on IEP’s or 504s the district will help determine if the accommodations and support can be delivered remotely or will need to be modified.
  • All students choosing remote instruction will be eligible for MHSA sanctioned activities.

Limited Electives or Related Academic Choices

It is important to understand that choosing continued remote learning will limit the choices that a traditional face-to-face academic setting would offer.
