Core-Flex, supported by the adaptive scheduler, allows students to take ownership of their learning by self-scheduling with teachers for additional academic support. During this time, students can sign up to meet with teachers in specific subject areas for extra help, complete make-up work or projects, or collaborate with content area specialists. The adaptive scheduler also creates opportunities for students to participate in clubs, enrichment activities, and other academic supports, making Advisory a flexible and personalized learning block.
