Welcome to Polson School District 23!

 

Enrollment is a two-step process. 

After submitting the registration form, the form will be reviewed and approved by the school registrar. Depending on when your form was submitted, approval can take up to 48 hours (*Summer response times can vary). After the Pre-Registration form is approved, you will recieve an email with instructions on how to complete the next step. 

Please use the button below to begin the enrollment process. Students who are new or re-entering the district after being enrolled elsewhere (or returning from home school) should complete the online enrollment process. Enrollment is a "one-time" process and does not need to be completed for students who are returning to school after completing the previous school year as a Polson School District student. ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Prior to Beginning Enrollment Process

Gather the following documents: 

  • Child's birth certificate or adoption paperwork
  • Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease agreement, buy/sell agreement)
  • Immunization Records 
  • Guardian Identification 
  • Out of District Form (if applicable)
  • Legal Custody Paperwork (if applicable--ie. guardianship, binding legal documents, restraining orders, loss of parental rights, etc.)
  • Tribal Paperwork (if applicable)

Step 1

  • Complete the Pre-Registration Form below. 
    • A valid email address is needed-- You will access your email for Step 2 of the registration process. 
    • We have Registration computers in each building that can be utilized if needed/preferred.

Step 2

  • Once the Pre-Registration form has been approved, an email will be sent with instructions for creating your PowerSchool for Parents account.
    • If you already have a Parent Account, you will follow the instructions for how to add this student to your current account in order to fill out the Enrollment forms. 
    • If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder.
    • If you have trouble filling out this form, please contact the school for support.
  • After creating your Parent Account or linking the new student to your existing account, complete ALL of the Enrollment forms.
    • All forms must be completed prior to the student begninng school. Please reachout to the school if you having any issues in the registration process. 

OUT OF DISTRICT ENROLLMENT PROCESS

The Polson School District Board of Trustees is responsible for approving or denying out-of-district enrollment requests. The forms below are required and must be completed for any out-of-district student requesting to be enrolled in the Polson Schools.

After completing the forms, please return them to Polson School District.  Forms may be dropped off, mailed, or emailed to the address below.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Kindergarten Roundup happens in April. Please note the following for registering your student for Kindergarten: 

  • Students MUST be five years old on or before the tenth (10th) day of September of the school year in which a child registers to enter school.
  • The District requires a birth certificate and an immunization record for every student
  • A parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian will need to complete an online Enrollment Form
